Objective

Session Breakdown:

  • Introduction (10 mins) - Introduce organization & facilitators.

  • Course overview (10 mins) - Explain structure, weekly breakdown and tasks.

  • Icebreaker activity (25 mins) -

Week 1: Case Study Analysis

Objective

Strengthen analytical skills and learn to apply psychological theories.Strengthen analytical skills and learn to apply psychological theories.

Session Breakdown:

  • Introduction to Case Analysis (5 minutes) Explain the structure: observation, analysis, psychological explanation (etiology/diagnosis used). (MSE - show format)

  • Case Study Breakdown (30 minutes) Participants analyze the case in pairs

  • Group Discussion (25 minutes) Each pair presents their findings.

Task:

Write a detailed case analysis report on an interesting topic assigned by us

Week 2: Counselling Practice Session

Objective

Build empathy, active listening, and basic counselling skills.

Session Breakdown:

  • Introduction to Counselling (10 minutes)
    Discuss empathy (explain active listening, body language for non-judgmental listening, and open-ended questioning)

  • Pairing (5 minutes) Pair participants with volunteers.

  • Counselling Practice (30 minutes) Each participant engages in a 10-minute session with their client.

  • Debrief (15 minutes) Reflective discussion and questions from learners about correcting mistakes. 

  • Introduce ted style psychology talks let them choose a topic and message us for approval

Task:

You will get task of doing mock counseling, and then you have to submit report of it

Week 3: TED-Style Psychology Talks

Objective

Develop public speaking, clarity, and engagement in psychological topics.

Session Breakdown:

  • Presentation Tips (30 minutes) Discuss storytelling, structure, and engagement techniques.

  • Discussion and approval of topics (30 minutes)

Task:

Record and submit the script = 5 minute ted talk video

Week 4: Expert Talk Session (Webinar)

Objective

Gain insights from professionals in the field.

Session Breakdown:

  • Guest Introduction (5 minutes) Brief overview of the expert’s background.

  • Expert Talk (40 minutes) Topics - emotional intelligence, and rapport building, mind-body connection.

  • Q&A (15 minutes) Open floor for participant questions.

Task:

Write a summary of the key takeaways and personalize how they are used in your own personal life

Week 5: Interactive Roleplay Exercise

Objective

Understand different psychological perspectives through roleplay.

Session Breakdown:

  • Intro to Roleplay (10 minutes) Discuss the importance of perspective-taking.

  • You will get a situation-based role 

  • Debrief (20 minutes) Groups share insights and emotional takeaways.

Task:

Write a reflection on how the roleplay shifted their understanding of behavior.

Week 6: Psychology Research Forum

Objective

Introduce research methods and foster curiosity.

Session Breakdown:

  • Introduction to Research (15 minutes) Explain basic research principles.

  • Idea Brainstorm (30 minutes) Participants create mini research proposals.

  • Share & Discuss (15 minutes) Groups present their ideas.

Task:

Develop a research proposal.

Week 7: Clash of Minds – Debate Round

Objective

Enhance critical thinking and argumentation.

Session Breakdown:

  • Debate Guidelines (10 minutes) Explain the rules and structure.

  • Debate Round (40 minutes) Each side presents their arguments.

  • Judging & Feedback (10 minutes) Facilitators and peers vote on the most compelling arguments.

Week 8: The Final Session – Q&A & Feedback

Objective

Wrap up the course, encourage feedback, and distribute certificates.

Session Breakdown:

  • Open Q&A (20 minutes) Address any remaining questions.

  • Feedback Session (20 minutes) Each participant shares 3 things they liked and 3 things they didn’t.
    Certificates & Appreciation (20 minutes) Celebrate achievements and recognise outstanding performers.
